I recently discovered Saturated Canary stamps, when I saw the first image I knew it was going to be another addiction in stamping. They are beautiful. This stamp is Summer, I choose her because she has strawberries. I live about 30 minutes from the city that is known as the Strawberry Capital of the World. While most of the country is still months away from warm weather here in Florida it is just around the corner. But the best thing is the strawberries are just around the corner. Each week as I drive to have breakfast with my mother in-law, I pass acre after acre of strawberry fields. I have watched the progress of the fields from planting to currently full of almost ripe berries. My daughter and I are already planning a strawberry picking day after which we will have yummy strawberry shortcake.
The card is an A6 and an A2 with a few modifications that I had to make to fit my image. You can see the inspiration card at Stampingville, there are instructions there for a smaller version. I used those instructions and upsized for what I needed. Here is Summer, I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
Traci your card is gorgeous. Beautiful colouring work. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Velma
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Velma. My husband colors all my Maggies and now the Saturated Canary ones because I just could not figure out the Copics. Mine just looked a mess. :-)
